RECOPE Starts Construction of Another Storage Tank

February 11, 2019 [BN Americas] - In view of the growing demand for aviation fuels reported at the Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia, 6.3% in 2018, a third storage tank is being built on the RECOPE campus in this air terminal. As of January 2019, the work has an advance of 30%.


RECOPE has been supplying aviation fuel for 25 years and currently it sells an average of 200 thousand liters of Jet A-1 per day, and on weekends, sales can reach more than 350 thousand liters per day, especially during the high season of tourism. Last Saturday, January 5, the sales record in this Plantel’s history was broken, selling 447 thousand liters with 56 aircraft satisfactorily serviced in a single day.
