Rebuttal of Publication: “IL&FS to Sell Fujairah Oil Terminal as Prospects Wane”
11.13.2017 - NEWS

November 13, 2017 [IL&FS] - In response to the above referred news item published and circulated recently, on behalf of IL&FS Group, we expressly wish to state it is incorrect and misinformed.

IL&FS Group has a long-term vision for Fujairah and continues to remain positive on the Oil Storage business in the region. The Terminal has been operating successfully with robust occupancy and is going ahead with the planned Phase II expansion, to provide enhanced facilities and services to existing and potential customers.

We strongly reiterate that the IPTF Terminal is not up for sale and any news reports portraying the same are completely unsubstantiated.

We hope the above puts to rest the incorrect portrayal of facts in the news item and we would be happy to answer any specific query on the matter, should there be. It is requested that the above clarification may be published for the benefit of your readers and the media should refrain from the use of such misleading and baseless news items.
