QC Terminales Increases its Capacity in Chile and Ecuador

March 16, 2016 [QC Terminals] - Since QC Terminals acquired San Antonio - Chile and Guayaquil - Ecuador facilities at the end of 2013, its management has prompted expansion projects, encouraged by a growing demand for services.


As a result of this expansion Guayaquil terminal grew in capacity by 1.730 m³, to achieve in total 21.100 m³.

In San Antonio Terminal expansion project of 6.200 m³ was carried out through additional 5 new tanks, including a new loading platform (3 trucks positions), truck weigh scale and pier to terminal pipelines. Further, San Antonio is carrying on a 2nd expansion project, adding another 3.200 m³ in 4 new tanks, which will allow San Antonio to achieve a total capacity of 31.000 m³ in Q3 2016.

All these projects represent an investment of USD 13 millions, reflecting confidence of QC terminals in the development of its business in Chile.
