Port of Bilbao earmarked for new terminal for liquid products

Almacenajes Liquidos del Atlantico, S.L. has applied with the Port Authority of Bilbao for the permission to construct a new terminal for liquid products. The terminal will be located in Punta Sollana, Zierbena in the Bilbao port on a plot of land of about 28,300 m².

Almacenajes Liquidos del Atlantico, S.L., headquartered in Pamplona was formed last year. Its main activities include storage, transshipment and trading of all kinds of liquid products including chemicals and petroleum products. The company is owned by three shareholders: E-oleum Consulting, S.L., Triticale, S.A. and Servicios Logisticos Portuarios, S.A. (SLP). The last one has already a strong position in the Port of Bilbao in a number of activities including the 16% participation in container terminal Abra Terminales Maritimas (ATM).
