November 23, 2011 [Pentagon Petroleum] – Petroplex International, LLC has entered into an agreement with Palmetto Energy Services, LLC, a provider of operations, engineering, construction, project management, merger and acquisition, and commercial development services to the “for-hire” bulk liquid terminal and pipeline business for the exclusive services of Mark Helmke, who will assume the role of Director of Commercial Development and Operations for Petroplex’s 10MM barrel multi-products terminal planned for construction beginning in 2012 in St. James Parish, Louisiana.
Mark was most recently a Director of Business Development, Terminal Operations and Natural Gas liquids for TransMontaigne Product Services Inc. (TPSI) and TransMontaigne Partners (TLP), a wholly owned subsidiary and investment of Morgan Stanley Capital Group and was responsible for the operation of the largest and most complex asset in the TransMontaigne asset portfolio in addition to business development of TransMontaigne’s non-affiliated 3rd party terminal services and NGL supply, distribution, and marketing. He brings substantial expertise in management of complex multi-modal operations. Prior to TransMontaigne, he held a variety of leadership roles with Independent Terminal and Pipeline Company.
