Oiltanking Partners Appoints Ex-Sunoco Executive as New CEO

November 7, 2012 [OPIS] - Oiltanking Partners LP said on Tuesday that Anne-Marie Ainsworth has been selected to succeed Carlin Conner as president and chief executive officer of its general partner, effective Nov. 26.


Ainsworth will also serve on the board of directors of Oiltanking’s general partner.

As previously announced, Carlin Conner has assumed the role of managing director of Oiltanking GmbH and joined the executive board of Marquard & Bahls AG.

Conner will remain chairman of the board of the general partner of the partnership.

Ainsworth is a refining industry veteran with 34 years of experience.

She was most recently senior vice president of Sunoco Refining.

Prior to joining Sunoco, Ainsworth was employed by Motiva Enterprises LLC, where she was the general manager of the Motiva refinery in Norco, La.

Oiltanking Partners is a master limited partnership engaged in independent storage and transportation of crude oil, refined petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gas.

It provides its services to a variety of customers, including major integrated oil companies, distributors, marketers and chemical and petrochemical companies.

Oiltanking assets are located along the Gulf Coast of the United States.
