Oil Imports Via Butinge Stable In 4 Months

June 4, 2018 [The Baltic Course] - Butinge oil terminal, operated by oil processing and transportation company Orlen Lietuva, handled 2.819 million tons of oil in the first four months of 2018, up 1.2% from 2.785 million tons last year, reports LETA/BNS.


In April, Butinge terminal handled 398,800 tons of oil, down 32.8% from last year’s April (593,600 tons) and down 41.7% from 683,900 in March, the Port of Klaipeda told BNS Lithuania.

In 2017, the terminal handled 9.8 million tons of oil, up 5.4% from 9.3 million tons in 2016. Orlen Lietuva imports oil via Butinge terminal only for its own needs since 2006.
