North West Europe Distillate Storage Gains

July 11, 2016 [OPIS] - Distillates in independent storage in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) area gained 4.1% for the week ending July 8, according to BNP Paribas.


Inventories were measured at 24.21 million bbl, 2.6% higher than a month ago, and 29% above the five-year average, the French investment bank said, citing data from PJK International.
 
Jet and kerosene stocks were 0.3% lower week on week, at 5.1 million bbl, although showing a 10% decline over the month. Levels were 53.5% higher than the five-year average.
 
May German household heating oil inventories were at 15.7 million bbl, and 58% full, which is 2.2% less than three months ago, the weekly report from BNP Paribas said, citing data from Ipsos Loyalty.
 
By contrast, Singapore middle distillate inventories are 0.7% above the five-year average.
