New fuel terminal in Riobamba in Ecuador

The construction of a new fuel storage and distribution terminal in Riobamba is underway. The new capacity, in total 11,750 m³, will be used for diesel and gasoline.

The terminal will be equipped with an automated level control system and fire safety system and will be the most modern terminal to be built in the area.
The construction started last January and will be completed in December this year. The work is due to cost some USD 25 million and is funded by Petrocomercial, the downstream subsidiary of Ecuador’s state oil company Petroecuador .The terminal is being built by Consorcio Azulec-Tesca.
