MOLGAS Group Signs Terminal-to-Ship LNG Bunkering Contract in Spain with ES Tankers

November 6, 2023 [Manifold Times]- Firm successfully completed the inaugural LNG bunkering operation, under the contract, on 24 October; MOLGAS added it is able to supply LNG bunker fuel through terminals, trucks, and ship-to-ship transfers.

 

The MOLGAS Group on Wednesday (1 November) said it has successfully signed a terminal-to-ship LNG bunkering contract in Spain with ES Tankers.

The firm successfully completed the inaugural LNG bunkering operation, under the contract, on 24 October.

“The deliveries orchestrated by MOLGAS Group represent the very first LNG bunkering operations in Europe carried out during the maiden voyage before reaching the final trading area,” it said in a statement sent to Singapore-based bunkering publication Manifold Times.

MOLGAS added it is able to supply LNG bunker fuel through diverse means including terminals, trucks, and ship-to-ship transfers.

“Furthermore, the group is proud to support the energy transition by supplying Bio/LNG, contributing to a more environmentally friendly shipping industry,” it added.

“We are happy for the joint effort and cooperation with the MOLGAS Group, on our first LNG bunker operations in Europe during the maiden voyages, ensuring our ships and team is in good hands with a reliable and experienced player within the LNG bunkering segment,” ES Tankers said.
