Maire's Nexchem Wins Two Contracts in Azerbaijan

September 18, 2024 [Market Screener]- Maire Tecnimont Spa announced Tuesday that Nextchem, through its subsidiary NextChem Tech, has been awarded two contracts by Socar to upgrade and expand capacity at the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery industrial complex in Baku, Azerbaijan.

 

NextChem Tech will conduct a technological assesment and provide a process design package for upgrading the existing sulfur recovery unit by implementing oxygen enrichment technology, a cost-effective and flexible solution

to expand sulfur production capacity.

In addition, NextChem Tech will provide the license and process design package for a new sulfur recovery unit with significant recovery efficiency.
