May 6, 2015 [OPIS] - Magellan Midstream Partners LP said on Tuesday that its wholly owned subsidiary has acquired a petroleum products distribution terminal from privately owned Perimeter Terminal LLC in northwest Atlanta.

The partnership said that it will spend about $55 million for the Atlanta terminal.

The terminal includes nine above-ground storage tanks with a total capacity of 350,000 bbl.

Products available at the terminal via a connection to Colonial Pipeline include low-octane gasoline and premium gasoline (conventional blendstocks for oxygenate blending) as well as ultra-low-sulfur diesel.

Storage and distribution services are also available for fuel-grade ethanol. The terminal includes a state-of-the-art four-bay truck-loading rack with five loading arms in each bay.

Magellan began operating the facility on May 1.
