Maastank Announces its New General Manager

February 04, 2011 [Maastank] - As per 1 March 2011 Niels Grootenboer (37) will be appointed as General Manager of Maastank BV.


Following his education in business administration and economies Niels Grootenboer was employed in the international vegoil (vegetable oils and fats) and bio-energy industry.
He occupied several senior positions in logistics and supply chain management, logistical services, product control(survey) and laboratory services.

As the new General Manager this knowledge and experience will enable Niels to lead Maastank with the emphasis on customer driven services, product development as well as the capacity increase of the terminal.

Quirijn Bol, General Manager of Maastank since 2007, will be leaving Maastank at the same date to pursue a new challenge in his career.
