February 29, 2016 [TankTerminals.com & Vostock Capital] - LNG demand is growing as offshore production development and the distance from the places of production to markets is increasing. 


Analytics talk about the new page of gas industry development. As a major gas producer Russia is actively stepping into the LNG market.

At the moment there is one operating LNG plant – Sakhalin-2. Another one – Yamal LNG – is under construction.  Moreover, there are also quite a few planned projects with noticeable developments over the past 12 months – Pechora LNG, Baltic LNG, Far East LNG, Arctic LNG-2.
