Lindsay Goldberg Considering Sale Of Its 49% Stake In Odfjell Terminals

May 10, 2018 [Tank News International] - Lindsay Goldberg is considering sale of its 49% stake in Odfjell Terminals B.V. while Odfjell SE is considering a tag along of its 51% shareholding in Odfjell Terminals Rotterdam.


Odfjell SE has been informed by Lindsay Goldberg that it is considering a sale of its 49% shareholding in Odfjell Terminals B.V. (OTBV).

Odfjell continues to consider OTBV as core business and are committed long term to owning, developing and operating tank terminals. However, as a part of Lindsay Goldberg’s considered sale, Odfjell will evaluate selling its indirect 51% shareholding in OTBV’s subsidiary Odfjell Terminals Rotterdam.

Lindsay Goldberg has been Odfjell’s joint venture partner in OTBV’s U.S. and European terminals since 2011. In 2013, the partnership was expanded to include OTBV’s global terminal operations.

Odfjell’s tank terminal division consists of eight tank terminals and is part of a network of another 13 tank terminals partly owned by related parties.
