LBC Tank Terminals Announces the Appointment of a New Business President for Europe

October 17, 2013 [LBC Tank Terminals] - LBC Tank Terminals today announces the appointment of Luc Jorissen as Business President for LBC’s European Region, effective October 1st, 2013. In this function, he will be responsible for the region’s commercial activities including LBC’s ambitious growth plans, including the significant investment at the company’s site in Rotterdam.


In addition to his role as Regional Business President, Luc will also join LBC’s Executive Leadership Team.

Luc brings a diverse wealth of experience to LBC, combining 11 years of terminaling experience with 14 years in international industrial manufacturing industries; where he led a broad portfolio of commercial activities including customers services, sales and marketing, marketing research and commercial strategy.

He joins LBC from the global commodity trader, Glencore, where he was responsible for terminal assets. Most recently with a particular focus on the startup, build out and utilization of a 900,000 m3 terminal joint venture, located in Antwerp.

Brett Simpson, Chief Executive of LBC said, “The timing of Luc joining our European business could not be better with the continued integration of our businesses across the region and in particular with our significant investment in substantial new chemical storage and jetty capacity in Rotterdam. He brings a breadth of commercial relationships and energy and a passion for terminaling to the team.”
