LBC Tank Terminals Achieves Ecovadis Platinum Status

September 8, 2023 [LBC]- LBC Tank Terminals has been awarded the Platinum medal by EcoVadis, an important provider of business sustainability ratings for global supply chains of over 100,000 companies across more than 200 industries in 175 countries.

 

EcoVadis rates and continually monitors companies’ corporate social responsibility (CSR) management and progress while offering tools to drive improvement. As one of the frameworks in sustainability assessments, EcoVadis validates corporate adherence to 21 recognized criteria in four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. EcoVadis’ methodology is based on various standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000 norm.

The awarded Platinum status places LBC Tank Terminals among the top 1% of enterprises evaluated on best practices in CSR.
