LBC Seabrook Terminal in Night Departure
03.06.2025 By Tank Terminals - NEWS

March 06, 2025 [Tank Storage Terminals]- LBC Tank Terminal’s Seabrook facility in Galveston, Texas, USA, has achieved a new milestone with its first night-time vessel departure following the lifting of daylight restrictions. The company made an announcement on LinkedIn about the first time a fully loaded crude oil vessel has departed the terminal during night-time hours.

This achievement was made possible by Project 11, a Port of Houston initiative to deepen and widen the Houston Ship Channel. With this enhancement, Aframax and Suezmax vessels will no longer face delays waiting for daylight to depart, leading to improved operational efficiency, faster vessel turnaround times, and a safer Houston Ship Channel.
