Krasnoyarsk LLC to Invest RUB 280 M Into Construction of Bunkering Complex at Kamchatka PDA

January 16, 2016 [PortNews IAA] - First investment agreement under Kamchatka PDA project has been signed between Far East Development Corporation JSC and Krasnoyarsk LLC, first PDA resident.


According to the press center of Kamchatka Territory Government, the project provides for construction and commissioning of oil product storage complex with the capacity of 18,000 t and for bunkering of vessels.

Dmitry Korostelev, Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Kamchatka Territory, says the investor is to inject some RUB 280 mln into the project which is to be implemented in about two years.

The project will let generate over 30 jobs. During the 10-year period from the commissioning, the complex will bring about RUB 900 mln of tax payments to the budgets of different levels.  

Dmitry Korostelev also says the Corporation has obtained 12 applications from potential PDA residents for the total amount of RUB 18 bln. Apart from the mentioned applications, 10 more project initiators are going to submit documents for signing the agreements with the managing company in the nearest future.

RF Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on establishment of Kamchatka PDA on August 28, 2015. Kamchatka PDA will be established at eight major investment sites of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Yelizovo agglomerations. Total area is to make 2,246 hectares.
