07.08.2019 By Ricardo Perez - NEWS

July 8, 2019 [Tank News International] – HES Botlek Tank Terminal (HBTT) is set to receive six storage tanks this year, each with a capacity of 3,400 cbm.

The tanks, which are to be used for the storage of biofuel, will be shipped in mid-July from the construction site of SJR Group – Tank Innovators to its site in Rotterdam.
The six storage tanks each have a diameter of 12 metres and are 30 metres in height. The construction of these tanks forms part of a considerable investment in HBTT’s tank storage. The capacity was doubled to 490,000 cbm in 2017. The delivery of these six tanks increases the total storage capacity to 510,000 cbm.

HBTT is one of the most modern and certified tank terminals in the world and is the first terminal in the Netherlands to hold the ISO 28001 certificate.
