07.01.2019 By Greta Talmaci - NEWS

July 1, 2019 [Kristv] – Flint Hills Resources are exploring the possibility of selling its Ingleside Crude Terminal, only a decade after the company acquired the terminal.

In a statement. Flint Hills’ CEO says the company bought the terminal to capitalize on the growing oil export market here. But now, Flint Hills is either looking for another company to partner with or sell the terminal entirely.

So is this a one-off? Or will other companies also look to cash in, with oil exports expected to grow exponentially over the next decade? We’ll have more. coming up this evening on KRIS 6 News.

Flint Hills says operations will continue normally at the terminal. This doesn’t affect an expansion project already underway.
