UTV is a representative body for independent tank storage operators in Germany, advocating for favourable legislative and regulatory conditions for the industry. They also provide insights to their members on technical, energy tax, and customs law matters. With a collective storage capacity of around 12.5 million cubic metres spread over 100 locations within Germany, UTV plays a significant role in the tank storage industry.

Falcker was thrilled to be invited to present their offerings to UTV’s members and share best practices for maintenance and safety. During their presentation, they discussed their experience working with esteemed customers like Vopak, BP, and SABIC, and their vision for a more efficient and safer asset inspection system for tank storage operators. The audience, including one of their customers, UNItank, responded positively to their message.

While they aim to showcase their work and potential to help members, their primary focus is on providing value and insight to improve maintenance and asset inspection practices for the entire industry. Following their presentation, they held a Q&A session, enabling experts in the room to exchange best practices, discuss challenges, and explore ways to overcome them.
