Exolum Obtains the Certificate in R&D&i in Relation to Aviation Technology, Fuels and Development of Management Systems

October 20, 2023 [Exolum]- Exolum’s aviation division has obtained the R&D&I Management System certificate according to the UNE UNE 166002 standard.

 

This recognition accredits the implementation of a management system that meets the requirements of the standard in terms of research, technological development and innovation for aviation technologies, petroleum technology, biofuels and sustainable fuels and software development for storage activities, fuel and fuel shipping and resource planning.

Mario Arroyo, Aviation Operation Senior Advisor at Exolum, highlighted: “This certificate confirms the readiness and effectiveness of our management system in terms of Research and Development. “We always work with the highest standards of safety, innovation and efficiency, and this accreditation is further recognition of the work we have been doing for more than four decades in the aviation sector.”

Exolum is a strategic partner of IATA and a member of the Joint Inspection Group (JIG). In addition, he serves as president of the aviation committee of the Energy Institute and is an Affiliate Member of ALTA (Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association) and ACI (Airports Council International).
