November 25, 2024 [Fcw]- ErreDue, a Company active in the design and production of highly innovative and customised solutions for the on-site production, mixing and purification of technical gases (hydrogen produced through the electrolysis of water, nitrogen, oxygen), announces that it has finalized a new order with a Portuguese company – active in gas distribution – for the construction and sale of a 1.25 MW plant valued at €1.7 million.
The plant, which will be delivered in the first quarter of 2025, consists of 5 generators using alkaline technology, which will be fully powered by renewable energy. At full capacity, the plant will produce approximately 432 kg of green hydrogen per day at an output pressure of 30 bar. The modularity of the plant will allow the customer to optimize operations according to their actual power requirements.
The Portuguese company, which has been in the gas industry for over 30 years, chose Erredue to expand its business segment related to hydrogen storage and distribution. By reducing CO2 emissions, the plant will significantly contribute to the energy transition, allowing for the identification of effective solutions that move towards energy efficiency and reduced costs in industrial processes.
Enrico D’Angelo, Chairman of ErreDue, commented: “We are pleased to have been chosen by an established international entity that has recognized us as a valuable partner, thanks to the impressive track record of our plants. Energy transition is becoming an increasingly critical factor for investments, along with the flexibility in using machinery according to actual and effective production needs, aspects that we, at ErreDue, pay particular attention to in order to support manufacturing companies. This collaboration will also allow us to strengthen our presence in Europe”.
