EPCM Wins Storage Facility Contract

August 16, 2022 [ Storage Terminals Magazine ] – The Coega Development Corporation (CDC) awarded EPCM Holdings the EPCM contract to design and construct a new HFO storage facility inclusive of associated pipeline and support infrastructure.

 

The project entails the design, construction and commissioning of two HFO tanks, with a cumulative capacity of 36,000 m3 (18,000 m3 each) with ancillary pipeline infrastructure from the port of Ngqura to the tank farm facility.

The project includes the design and construction of the pipeline from the berth to the tank farm, pigging stations, booster pump station, tanks, bund walls, and all facilities within the bund walls to pump the product out, as well as downstream items such as the pumps, admin building, sub-station building, operating system etc. to enable a fully operational tank farm facility.
