Enterprise Products Partners Opens New Storage Terminal

June 7, 2010 [OPIS] - Enterprise Products Partners LP said operations have begun at a new refined products storage facility in Port Arthur, Texas.

The $330 million storage facility has 20 storage tanks with 5.4 million barrels of capacity for gasoline, diesel and jet fuel. The facility is connected to a nearby refinery via five pipelines, each five and one-half miles in length. The facility has interconnects to the Enterprise TE Products Pipeline, the Colonial, Explorer and Sunoco systems.
Enterprise has a 15-year throughput agreement with a nearby refinery to store and transport the refinery’s products.
