Enterprise Opens North Little Rock Terminal to All Shippers

November 1, 2011 [OPIS] - Enterprise Products says it is opening its North Little Rock, Arkansas terminal to "all shippers" who move barrels along the Enterprise/TEPPCO pipeline that serves a number of terminal markets from the Gulf Coast into the Midwest.

Access to the Little Rock facility had been restricted as part of an agreement Enterprise had with “a dedicated customer.”
Enterprise doesn’t identify the customer in its announcement but sources familiar with the Little Rock market say that ExxonMobil has been selling branded products out of the terminal and that Enterprise itself was selling unbranded barrels at the terminal. Enterprise purchased the Little Rock terminal from ExxonMobil so it is believed that ExxonMobil’s single access to the terminal stemmed from that sale.
The OPIS terminal directory lists ExxonMobil as the only exchange partner at the N. Little Rock terminal, which has three storage tanks with a total capacity of 140,400 barrels.
Additionally, there are two automated truck bays for handling ultra-low-sulfur diesel, premium and sub-octane gasoline, the shipper bulletin said. Ethanol will also be available at the terminal.
OPIS terminal rack pricing for N. Little Rock also indicates that Enterprise markets at its own facility and that ExxonMobil has another exchange at Truman Arnold’s terminal.
