Enterprise Ethanol Storage Tank Nears Completion

January 26, 2012 [OPIS] - The 15,000-barrel ethanol storage tank at Enterprise's Princeton, Ind., refined product truck rack will be completed soon, and storage and blending capabilities will be operational by mid-February, the company said Tuesday.

“We are contacting storage customers at this time to help ensure a seamless transition from a suboctane facility to a finished grade facility,” James Dupay, manager, refined product assets management, said in a note. “This refurbishment will now meet our customers’ needs going forward.”

There will be two truck racks at the facility, according to Dupay, and metered blending will be available for existing customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Biodiesel blending is not available “at this time,” Dupay said, but he added: “We’re working on it. We’re in discussions. We have nothing conclusive, time frame at this point, but it is something being talked about.”
