Emarat Expands Fujairah Oil Products’ Storage Capacity

DUBAI - UAE fuel retailer Emarat will raise the capacity of its petroleum products storage unit in Fujairah, the world’s No. 3 ship refuelling hub, to 250,000 cubic metres (cu m) from 50,000 cu m, the 
firm said.

used for storing and distributing gas oil, diesel, gasoline and jet fuel, Emarat said in a statement on its website. Emarat has five such storage terminals with a total capacity of 383,000 cu m across the United Arab Emirates, it said, in addition to two more units managed with international partners with a total capacity of 
285,000 cu m.
The United Arab Emirates is well on its way to becoming the world’s fourth major fuel trading hub.
