Duqm Refinery Establishes Storage, Export Terminal at Duqm Port

August 10, 2020 [Times of Oman] – Duqm Refinery will be establishing a storage and export terminal for liquid and bulk petroleum products at Duqm Port.

 
The statement issued online by ONA read, “The oil berth of Duqm port will be witnessing the establishment of a storage and export terminal for liquid and bulk petroleum products within the third package of the Duqm refinery, concerned with external facilities implemented by Saipem International, which consists of three sub-packages.”

“The ‘Duqm Economic’ magazine stated that the overall completion rate in this large project amounted to 68.6 per cent until last June, indicating that the total cost of the third package of the Duqm refinery amounted to $882.9 million USD,” the statement added.
