Crude Oil Near $79 Per Barrel, Petrol and Diesel Prices Stable

January 6, 2024 [Tezzbuzz]- The price of crude oil continues to fluctuate in the international market. In the last 24 hours, the price of Brent crude has jumped to $ 79 per barrel and WTI crude has reached close to $ 73 per barrel.

 

However, public sector oil and gas marketing companies have not made any change in the prices of petrol and diesel. According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in the capital Delhi on Thursday is Rs 96.72 and diesel is Rs 90.08 per liter. In Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs 106.31 per liter and diesel at Rs 94.27 per liter. Similarly, the price of petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 and diesel is Rs 92.76 per liter, while in Chennai the price of petrol is Rs 102.63 and diesel is Rs 94.24 per liter. In the international market, in the early trade on the fourth day of the week, branded crude is trending at $ 78.41 per barrel with a rise of $ 0.16 or 0.20 percent. At the same time, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude is trading at $ 72.73 per barrel, increasing by $ 0.26 or 0.36 percent.
