Crosstex Completes Phase II Expansion Plans for Riverside, LA., Facility

June 25, 2013 [OPIS] - Crosstex Energy has completed Phase II of its expansion plans at its Riverside facility in southern Louisiana, the company said Wednesday.


This project has raised the capacity of the facility to transload crude from railcars to its barge facility to about 15,000 b/d, the Dallas, Texas-based company also said.

Phase II additions also included a 100,000-b/d above-ground crude storage tank,
a rail spur with a 26-spot crude railcar unloading rack, and a crude offloading facility with pumps and metering as well as a truck unloading bay, they also said.

The Riverside facility also was modified to enable sour crude offloadings in addition to sweet crude, the company added.

The average annual fee-based cash flow from the Riverside expansion projects is expected to be around $10 million beginning in June 2013, Crosstex said.
