Croatia's Janaf Signs Oil Transportation, Storage Deals with MOL, Glencore

February 8, 2017 [SeeNews] - Croatian state-controlled oil pipeline operator Jadranski Naftovod (Janaf) said on Tuesday it has concluded deals with two foreign companies for oil transportation and storage of oil products. 


Janaf signed a one-year deal with Hungary’s energy group MOL for transportation and storage at its Omisalj and Sisak terminals, the company said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.

The company also signed a three-year deal to provide oil storage capacity to global commodities trader Glencore at the Omisalj terminal.

Janaf has terminals on Krk island as well as in Sisak, Virje, Slavonski Brod and Zitnjak and operates 622 kilometres of pipelines. It has a total of 1.54 million cubic metres of storage capacity for oil and 202,000 cubic metres of capacity for the storage of oil products.
