Contango Storage Assumes Marketing of Vattenfall Later This Year

March 5, 2012 [Contango Storage] - Contango Storage is pleased to announce it has signed an agreement with Swedish energy utility Vattenfall regarding marketing and administration of Vattenfall's oil depot in Stenungsund, Sweden.


In order to continuously develop and improve the usage of its oil depot, Vattenfall has decided to rent out the depot to external clients. Contango Storage will be fully responsible for marketing and operations. The cooperation will start with immediate effect and storage will be available from 1st July 2012.

The operation will continue as before and the ambition is to maintain Stenungsunds position as one of the best cavern storages in Scandinavia. The two companies plan to improve the infrastructure and increase the service level for customers.
