Citgo Restarting Corpus Christi, Texas Refinery Gasoline Unit

July 23, 2018 [Nasdaq] - Citgo Petroleum Corp was restarting the large gasoline-producing unit at its 157,500-barrel-per-day (bpd) Corpus Christi, Texas, refinery on Friday, said sources familiar with plant operations.


The 69,000-bpd Fluidic Catalytic Cracking Unit 2 was shut on Thursday due to a pump malfunction, the sources said. Citgo spokesman Ray Fohr said the unit would be returning to normal operation on Friday after an unplanned shutdown on Thursday.
