Cheniere Reports Rise in 2025 Profit on Strong LNG Demand
02.26.2026 By Tank Terminals - NEWS

February 26, 2026 [Reuters]- Cheniere Energy reported a nearly 64% rise in full-year 2025 profit on Thursday, driven by strong liquefied natural gas (LNG) demand.

The U.S. is the world’s largest LNG exporter and had shipped 15 billion cubic feet per day (bcfpd) of the supercooled fuel last year, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), up 26% from 2024.

Commercial activity in the sector gained further momentum after President Donald Trump lifted a moratorium on new LNG export permits after taking office in January last year.

The company’s LNG revenue was at $19.44 billion in 2025, up 30% from a year earlier.

Cheniere reported net income attributable to Cheniere of $5.33 billion for the year ended December 31, compared with $3.25 billion a year earlier.
