Brightoil Starts Construction of 4-5 Mm3 Terminal in Dalian

April 13, 2011 [C1 Energy] - Brightoil Petroleum (Holdings) Ltd started construction of a 4-5-Mm3 oil tank farm in Dalian in Northeast China's Liaoning Province in late March, a source with the company told C1.


The company expects to complete construction of this tank farm in the first half of 2012, the source said.
This is Brightoil’s phase-I tank farm project in Dalian’s Changxing Island. Together with the phase-II project on stream, Brightoil will have 12-Mm3 of storage in this island, according to the source.
The company also plans to construct 13 berths for oil and chemicals in Changxing Island, including a 300,000-DWT one and two 100,000-DWT ones, Dalian Environmental Protection Bureau said on its website.
Brightoil is a private enterprise headquartered in Hong Kong, mainly engaged in wholesale and retail business of petroleum products, shipping, oil bonded storage, international oil trading, supply of bonded bunker fuel, oil and gas prospecting and exploitation
