Bosnia's Hifa Petrol Acquires Liquid Fuel Storage Terminal

December 17, 2018 [SeeNews] - Bosnian oil products distributor Hifa Petrol has acquired a liquid fuel storage terminal in Sevarlije for an undisclosed sum, the company said on Friday.  


The terminal, located in Bosnia’s Serb Republic, has a capacity for 2.5 million litres of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and one million litres of oil products and is equipped with a pond, overhead and underground storage tanks and fire protection facilities built to the strictest EU standards, Hifa Petrol said in a statement.

After the acquisition, Hifa Petrol’s has a total storage capacity of 9.0 million tonnes of oil products and 3.6 million litres of LPG. The company which already operates four other storage terminals across Bosnia and Herzegovina, has a chain of 32 filling stations.

The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
