Belgian compulsory oil stock agency APETRA looks for 660,000 m³ storage capacity

February 12, 2010 [TankTerminals.com] - APETRA published an announcement earlier this week that it will soon launch a tender for the storage of various oil products for in total 660,000 m³.

APETRA made the following statement.

In order to realise its goals as to the build-up of its stocks in property, APETRA is for 2012 still looking for a total volume of some 660.000 m3 of storage capacity. For this purpose, APETRA will soon launch new calls for tender for the storage of heating oil, diesel and crude oil. Besides existing capacities, APETRA will be seeking also retrofit and newbuild projects and this both in Belgium and abroad.
Indicative timing for these calls for tenders:

• Launch toward the companies on the shortlist: March/April 2010;
• Deadline entry tenders: mid-August 2010;
• Award by APETRA: mid-September 2010.
