02.10.2015 - NEWS

February 10, 2015 [LBC Tank Terminals] - The Board of LBC would like to announce that the chairman of LBC, François Cornélis, has stepped down from this position, with immediate effect.

Mr Cornélis has recently accepted a new, interim assignment as the CEO of Belgium’s electricity transmission system operator, Elia and therefore felt unable to continue in his role as the Chairman of LBC.

LBC will now initiate a search for a new permanent, independent Chairman for LBC. In the meantime, the Board of Directors has appointed Edward Sigar as the interim Chairman. Mr Sigar has been a director on the LBC Board since 2012.

The Board would like to express its gratitude to François for his chairmanship of the company.
