SOCAR Boosts Exports of Petroleum Products, Petrochemicals 3% in Q3

October 28, 2025 [Interfax]- The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) produced 1.81 million tonnes of oil and 1.94 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas in the third quarter of 2025, the company said in a statement.

 

SOCAR exported 4.1 million tonnes of oil in January-September. The company exports oil which it produces at its own fields, as well as profitable oil produced by Azerbaijan and SOCAR itself as part of oil contracts.

Some 1.7 million tonnes of oil were processed in the period, and 760 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas.

The company did not provide comparative data on oil and gas production, processing and exports in 2024.

SOCAR exported 639,200 tonnes of processed oil, petrochemicals and gas chemical products, up 2.7% year-on-year.

In 2024, oil production by SOCAR fell 3.2% year-on-year to 7.48 million tonnes, while gas production decreased 8% to 7.72 bcm.
