January 31, 2025 [Reuters]- Petrobras will increase the average price of aviation kerosene (QAV) sold to distributors by 8% from February 1st, which corresponds to an increase of approximately 0.31 reais per liter, the company said in a statement this Thursday.

As a result, the accumulated adjustment for the year is 15.6%, which corresponds to an increase of R$0.56/liter in relation to the price in December 2024, according to calculations by the state-owned company.

Petrobras QAV adjustments occur at the beginning of each month, as provided for in contracts.

Petrobras sells the fuel produced in its refineries or imported only to distributors, which in turn transport and sell the products to air transport companies and other end consumers at airports, or to resellers.
