November 05, 2024 [Storage Terminals Magazine]- Texas LNG Brownsville LLC, a subsidiary of Glenfarne Energy Transition, LLC, has appointed Kiewit, through its subsidiaries Kiewit Engineering Group Inc. and Kiewit Energy Group Inc., to oversee the engineering, procurement, and construction of its planned four million tonnes per annum liquefied natural gas export terminal in the Port of Brownsville, Texas. The project, structured as a lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) contract, also includes collaborative efforts with Kiewit to expedite the pre-final investment decision engineering necessary for the project to reach a final investment decision, following Texas LNG’s recent announcement that it has secured adequate offtake commitments for FID.
