1) Australian engineering firm Worley has secured a reimbursable engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for the first phase of Venture Global’s planned CP2 LNG terminal in Louisiana.

2) US LNG exporting giant Cheniere now plans to build two instead of three liquefaction trains as part of the Sabine Pass expansion project in Louisiana. Cheniere said the company is not reducing its growth ambition at Sabine Pass, and with this move it would achieve similar production with an optimized unit/cost footprint.

3) Shell’s huge Prelude FLNG located offshore Western Australia has shipped its first LNG cargo since August this year when it started scheduled maintenance

4) Italy’s Eni has introduced the first gas into its Tango floating LNG (FLNG) facility moored in Congolese waters.

5) US LNG exporting giant Cheniere and compatriot Bechtel are moving forward with the construction work on the expansion phase at the Corpus Christi LNG export plant in Texas.
