Physical Supply to Begin in Skaw, Denmark for Peninsula Petroleum
02.01.2021 By Ricardo Perez - NEWS

February 1st, 2021 [Tank News International] – Peninsula Petroleum CEO John Bassadone said: “2021 will see further expansion for Peninsula.”

Peninsula said the operation will be supported by fuel storage at Gothenburg, and high sulphur fuel oil (HSFO), very low sulphur fuel oil (VLSFO) and low sulphur gasoil (LSGO) will be available.

He added that the Skaw operation in Denmark will start up in February, using two tankers with a combined capacity of around 10,000 metric tonnes (mt).

Bassadone said: “Expanding our regional supply network into Skaw is a great example of Peninsula seeking and finding client solutions which help them execute their bunker procurement strategy.

“2021 will see further expansion for Peninsula, but we are very proud to enter Skaw and to bring our expertise to this exciting new market.”

Last June, Bunker One established a foothold in the Skaw supply market when Bunker Holding subsidiary Unioil Supply took over the operation of the Skaw terminal from Monjasa. Bunker One also has storage in Copenhagen and Aarhus.
