June 10, 2019 [Tank News International] – Turkey-based engineering and construction firm Atilla has recently completed its Istanbul New Airport Tank Farm Project. The company constructed ten tanks with a total capacity of 300,000 cbm.
Atilla executed the design, supply, manufacturing and erection of each of the 30,000 cbm Jet A1 storage tanks and an extra 30,000 cbm fire water storage tank on behalf of IGA (Istanbul Grand Airport Co.)
The project took 24 months to complete with the use of hydraulic systems. The tanks erected are aluminium dome roof tanks.
Atilla specialises in new construction, refurbishment of existing facilities, and specialized construction for the wood plant processing, industrial sectors as petro chemical & chemical plant, mining plant, power plant and all kinds of steel structure constructions.
The company has also its own manufacturing facility to execute structural steel activities; capable of producing annually 12,000 tonnes of construction steel as well as manufacturing process equipment as per customer demand.
