08.06.2018 - NEWS

August 6, 2018 [Financial Tribune] - The construction of storage tanks at Goureh Oil Terminal in Bushehr Province is expected to become complete by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2019).

“Notwithstanding the considerable progress in the project, the remaining sections are time-consuming. However, we hope the plan would become fully operational by March,” Touraj Dehqani, the managing director of Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), told Shana.

Referring to technical and legal problems hindering the plan’s development, Dehqani called for eliminating the problems and accelerating the pace of development.   According to the report, the plan aims to increase and stabilize oil production, in addition to cushioning the effects of daily output fluctuations due to operational problems.
