Oiltanking Africa to Expand its Saldanha Bay Oil Hub

July 9, 2018 [Tank News International] - Oiltanking Africa has announced it is expanding its crude oil storage facilities by 30% at its Saldanha Bay Oil Hub in South Africa.


The hub is currently able to hold up to 45 million barrels and will see the addition of 13 million barrels of storage and blending facilities added by the end of next year.

The 12 tanks will each have a capacity to hold 1.1 million barrels and will have a fixed roof design, allowing partial cargoes to be unloaded and blended with other oil grades.
