Kharg Oil Terminal Poised to Export 700k Oil Barrels Within 2 Years

June 28, 2018 [Hellenic Shipping News] - Chief Executive of Iranian Oil Terminals Company (OTC) Seyed Pirouz Mousavi revealed the export of 700,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) within the next two years.


Infrastructures of Kharg Oil Terminal will be prepared in the next two years to receive, store and export 700,000 barrels of oil in West Karun, he maintained.

Turning to the export of first consignment of PARS Oil Company from Bahregan Oil Terminal, he said, “currently, export of oil from Bahregan Oil Terminal is still underway but due to the increase of oil production capacity in West Karun and also export restriction of oil in Bahregan Oil Terminal, Kharag Oil Terminal will be readied for the consecutive operation of this plan.
