Jacobs Engineering Secures Contract for Fuel Storage, Distribution Terminal in Mexico

October 23, 2017 [Hydrocarbons Technology] - Jacobs Engineering Group has secured a contract from Invex Infraestructura 4 (INI4) for a greenfield fuel storage and distribution terminal in Tula Hidalgo, Mexico.


As per the contract, Jacobs will carry out engineering services and support INI4 with regulation compliance and efficient execution.

This engineering phase will offer the basis for construction and operation of the strategic terminal.

Jacobs Petroleum and Chemicals senior vice president and general manager for global operations Mark Bello said: “Jacobs’ fuel storage and terminals knowledge and proven track record for providing innovative, end-to-end solutions were key factors in securing the contract.”

“This project, which is expected to help boost confidence in fuel supply throughout the country, is fully in line with Jacobs’ strategy and continued focus on developing storage terminal opportunities in Mexico and Latin America.”
